Zucchini slice

This is a recipe that 90% of Australians have grown up with. I loved having it when I was younger and was so excited every time Mum made it. This is the basic recipe I have been using the past 15 years and it is still as good as the first time I tried it. The Cook Processor gives it an upgrade because you won’t grate your fingers off in the process of making it. Mr 7 claimed he liked the flavour but not the taste, thankfully the flavour outweighs the taste and he gobbled it up anyway.

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Using Multi blade. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Add cheese and pulse for 30 seconds.
  3. Add zucchini and onion and mix speed 7 for 15 seconds.
  4. Add bacon and mix speed 7 for 10 seconds.
  5. Add eggs, flour, salt, pepper and oil and mix speed 4 for 20 seconds.
  6. Pour into a well greased slice tray and bake for 30-40 minutes
  7. Let cool for approx 15 minutes before serving.
