Yo yo biscuits or melting moments were among the first biscuits I made when I was younger, they have a short buttery flavour and literally as the name implies melt in your mouth. Quick, easy and always a hit with everyone.

  1. Preheat oven to 180 deg c and line trays with baking paper.
  2. Insert ‘MultiBlade’ into the bowl. Add butter, icing sugar and vanilla. Close the lid. Set the timer for 1 minute. Press Start and set the speed to 5. Open and scrape down.
  3. Add flour and custard powder. press pulse a few times until combined. (Don't over mix or the biscuits will have a tougher texture)
  4. Roll heaped teaspoons full of mixture into balls and place on baking trays.
  5. Press with floured fork to flatten slightly and bake for 12 - 15 mins until light golden.
  6. Stand on trays for 2 minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool.
Filling
  1. Add filling ingredients into bowl and set on speed 3 for 4 minutes
  2. Join biscuits halves together with the filling.
