Honey Soy Beef Stir-fry

Easy peasy lemon squeezey is the current favourite saying of my 7 year old (as is “Mum, pleaasseeee can I have Disney Infinity 3.0”). This dish is definitely easy peasy lemon squeezey. It is packed with flavour using minimal ingredients and makes an easy dinner that comes together in less then 20 minutes, it also ages beautifully so is perfect for lunches the next day.

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Using stir assist add 1 tablespoon oil and heat 140°C, 4.30 minutes, speed 1. When the oil starts crackling pause the cook processor and add 1/2 the beef strips. Close the lid and resume the program on speed 1. Set aside.
  2. Repeat step 1 with the other half of the beef.
  3. Add garlic, ginger and chilli and saute until fragrant at 120°C, 1 minute at speed 1.
  4. In a small bowl combine corn flour and water and mix well. Add soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce and corn flour/water mixture to bowl and quick stir 10 seconds.
  5. Add beef and lemongrass and cook 100°C, 7 minutes at speed 1
  6. Serve with rice and steamed veggies

I used minced ginger/garlic/chilli but feel free to use fresh, just pulse it for a few seconds before sauteing.
