Creamy Chicken and Asparagus Pasta

I doubt there are enough words to describe our family’s love of the dish. Apart from the several tries it took to adapt the recipe from one of my favourite recipe blogs, you can add another seven times before you’ve roughly arrived at the number of times we have eaten this in the past few months.  I’m not sure if its been mentioned before but husband isn’t a huge pasta fan and I can take it or leave it, but this dish is unbelievable.  It’s a dish where you hope there are left overs for work the next day and the kids hope you don’t eat it all so they can have it for dinner again the next night. Its creamy in all the ways a pasta should be and the Cook Processor makes it a breeze.

Instructions
  1. Using stir assist add oil and heat at 140°C for 2 minutes
  2. Add chicken and bacon and cook 140°C for 7 minutes on speed 1. Set aside. If you like a thicker sauce drain the juices or for a thinner sauce keep them.
  3. Add broth and 2 cups of the milk and bring to the boil at 140°C for 3 minutes.
  4. Add pasta and cook at 130°C for 7 minutes with lid open
  5. Add asparagus and mix on speed 1 until asparagus is mixed slightly with pasta, cook 130°C for 4 minutes
  6. In a small separate bowl mix flour and milk. Set heat to 130°C for 2 minutes on speed 1. With the lid closed add milk and flour mixture through measuring cup hole.
  7. Add chicken, cheese and bacon and cook 130°C for 1 minute on speed 2.
