Several weeks back in this post I mentioned I had an upcoming dip recipe, this is it.
Years ago, I made a rule that any recipe I found online had to be made as the author had written (unless an ingredient was particularly obscure). First, I wanted to show the author respect in the recipes they had created and second, I wanted to be able to be able to embody the feelings, care and love that had been put to that dish. After that I was free to change it up as much as I liked either based on what we have at the time or based on our family preferences. Every now and then though I come across a recipe that honestly doesn’t need any alterations. That is just so spectacularly delicious and satisfying that you know it will be a regular.
OK, I admit, I did change this recipe a skerrick but it was just to double the ingredients because sometimes I’m too lazy to throw things in a pan and because it freezes great, I have however posted the original measurements so doubling is at your discretion..
